Poster for "Case Closed" Narrative

The poster for our narrative film is finally complete. The first step I did was gathering the images of each of the characters. My inspiration for creating the poster came from the Star Wars posters where they place the main characters of the film in a way that looks dramatic.  I just simply edited the background from each of the characters and used the blur tool fix some minor edges. I then used a grid so that I could place the characters in a way that was easy for the viewer to scan. I also couldn't resist using the Star Wars font because I'm a fan of Star Wars and it looked right. I then placed text to give the movie some excitement by adding the motto, "The Force Will Prevail". Then I added the last two finishing touches which were the lightsaber, the background and the magnifying glass and this is the finished poster. Enjoy (:
